What does a drain or sewer camera actually show?
A push camera on a flexible cable travels through the pipe and streams live video back to a monitor, letting the technician see cracks, offset joints, tree roots, grease buildup, or a low spot known as a belly. It is the difference between diagnosing a line from what comes out of it and actually looking at what is wrong inside it.
Why do we record the footage instead of just watching it live?
A recorded inspection lets us mark the exact footage where a defect appears and match it to a locate reading on the surface, so we know precisely where to dig or where to feed a trenchless liner. It also gives you a copy of what we found, so you are not taking our word for the condition of a line you cannot see.
